World Team Renju & Gomoku Championship 2026 comes to Yerevan

The Armenian Renju Federation has confirmed the full details of the World Team Renju & Gomoku Championship 2026. National teams from around the world will gather in Yerevan this August for twelve days of competition across both disciplines.

At a glance

• Dates: 8–19 August 2026
• Venue: Chess House, 50a Khanjyan Street, Yerevan, Armenia
• Disciplines: Renju (9–15 Aug) and Gomoku (15–19 Aug)
• Format: National teams, single round-robin, Taraguchi-10 opening rule
• Entry fee: €30 per person, €20 for under-21
• Accommodation: YSU Guest House, €50 single / €40 shared per night, breakfast included

Eight nations may enter two teams: Armenia, China, Estonia, Japan, Russia, Czechia, Uzbekistan and Poland. All other countries may field one team.
